We love tahini not only because it is extremely healthy but because it is so versatile. You can experiment with tahini by blending it with your favorite veggies. We made 3 different versions as pictured here by adding in cilantro, beets and roasted red bell pepper.
Ingredients for tahini:
- 1/2 cup tahini
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- handful of cilantro
- red bell pepper, roasted and peeled
- 1 small beet, boiled and peeled
Combine Tahini ingredients with cilantro, beets or roasted red bell pepper in a blender until smooth. Serve with pita or challah bread.
